Saghmosavank, Alphabet Alley, Amberd, Karmravor, Oshakan
Excursion to Saghmosavank. Saghmosvank Monastery is located 20 km from Yerevan over the high gorge of the Kasah River. The monastery was built in 1215, when Prince Vache Vachutyan ordered the construction of the Surb Zion temple.
The next stop is at the Alley of Letters - a monument created in 2005, on the 1600th anniversary of the Armenian alphabet. The monument is located in the village of Artashavan on the slope of Mount Aragats.
Then stop at Amberd Fortress. Next, a workshop on the preparation of Armenian sweets. Also visiting the churches of Karmravor and Oshakan.
