The mulberry festival takes place every year in Karahunj village, it starts with the whole process of making and tasting the famous Karahunj mulberry vodka.

After participating in a mulberry vodka distillation ceremony, visitors sample traditional dishes accompanied by Armenian song and dance while browsing the market for locally produced and grown products.

On tables full of local products, each community in the province presents its products and traditional dishes, including Sibek,  Ghavurma and buttermilk.
